Proclamations
The Town of Aurora accepts proclamation requests from individuals and organizations to proclaim a specific day, week, or month to acknowledge efforts, commitments and achievements of organizations and community groups and to recognize public awareness campaigns, charitable fundraising campaigns and arts celebrations of significance, and for special honours for special achievements.
Community Flag Raisings
A community flag raising at the Town Hall Flagpole, located at 100 John West Way, can also be requested. Community flag raising requests must be submitted four (4) weeks prior to the date.
To request a Proclamation or Community Flag Raising please submit the Proclamation and Flag Request Form. At the time of submission, a copy of the proclamation wording is required. After submission of the form, for further inquiries regarding the flag raising event please contact clerks@aurora.ca.
