This holiday season Central York Fire Services (CYFS) wants everyone to stay safe and make fire safety a top priority. As we enter the festive season, you may be spending more time in the kitchen while hosting holiday get-togethers. The Town of Aurora, in partnership with Chabad Aurora, is delighted to invite the community to this year's Menorah Lighting Ceremony. Join us in celebrating the Festival of Light with the local Jewish community in lighting the 5th candle. The event will feature the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods, a downtown walk and a fire performance. Happy Chanukah to our community!

Due to the Canada Post strike, water bills will be available for pickup at Aurora Town Hall starting Tuesday, December 3, 2024

Extended hours for pickup:

  • Access Aurora will be open until 8 p.m. on December 5, 10, and 12.  Please bring photo ID.

This applies to:

  • Residential accounts starting with 001-xxxx-xxx to 009-xxxx-xxx
  • Commercial accounts starting with 050-xxxx-xxx to 054-xxxx-xxx

Other payment options:

Budget approved; service levels maintained with investments in roads, parks, facilities, tech.
