Unique space to grieve deceased loved ones unveiled in Aurora

An unconnected phone booth known as a wind phone will be unveiled at Sheppard’s Bush on Friday, December 13. This installation, a partnership between the Town of Aurora and Oasis Bereavement, provides a unique, peaceful space where individuals can engage in one-way conversations with deceased loved ones. Wind phones became popular in Japan in the early 2010s as way for people to mourn deceased victims of the devastating Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

The Canada Post strike is impacting mail services to and from the Town of Aurora. During the strike, we will not be sending out any mail or receiving mail. Please see below for alternate ways to access Town services and make payments during this time:
