To mark Recreation and Parks Month in June (JRPM), the Town of Aurora is celebrating with a calendar full of active, healthy, and fun activities, including several free drop-in programs for the community to participate in throughout the month. Aurora Mayor Tom Mrakas has reconvened a taskforce to help vulnerable residents connect with important supports and services in the community.
The Aurora Cares Community Action Team was originally created during the COVID-19 pandemic to support residents experiencing homelessness, seniors, people living with disabilities and those who rely on food banks.
