Town of Aurora Ratified Four-Year Agreement with CUPE LOCAL 905.01

The Town of Aurora is pleased to announce that on October 17, 2023, Council endorsed a new Collective Agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 905.01 (outside workers).

The terms of the settlement, ratified by CUPE Local 905.01 and Town Council include:

  • modest benefit increases
  • annual wage increases over four years:
    • 3 per cent for April 1, 2023
    • 2.5 per cent for April 1, 2024
    • 2.5 per cent for April 1, 2025
    • 3 per cent as for April 1, 2026

Applications now available for windrow pilot program for seniors and people with disabilities

Applications are now available for a new pilot program that will see the Town of Aurora remove driveway snow windrows for seniors and community members living with a disability during the 2023/2024 winter season.
