Join our Holiday Eco Challenge and make this festive season eco-friendly! Throughout the month of December make small changes to help celebrate the holiday season in a more sustainable way.
Did you know, household waste can increase by as much as 25% around the holidays, according to non-profit organization Zero Waste Canada. That translates into:
3,000 tonnes of foil
2.6 billion Christmas cards
6 million rolls of tape
540,000 tonnes of wrapping paper/gift bags

How to participate:
- Download the Bingo Challenge
- Cross off as many boxes as possible throughout the month of December! The more squares you complete, the higher your chances to win.
- As you complete them tag us! @townofaurora #AuroraHolidayChallenge
- Take a picture and send your card to cshaver@aurora.ca by January 3, 2024 for the chance to win a Sustainable Gift Pack.
