The Town of Aurora is pleased to announce the launch of our Community Partnership Grant Program designed to provide temporary funding to assist in the implementation of culture or recreation-based initiatives, build organizational capacity, benefit the community, and support the Town’s Strategic Plan.

Groups or individuals that apply must be:

  • Culture, recreation and/or community organizations that serve the Aurora community primarily.
  • Individuals, who are residents of Aurora.
  •  Individuals, culture or recreation professionals, culture, or recreation organizations regardless of not-for-profit or charitable status.

"We are excited to launch the Community Partnership Grant Program and provide a platform for individuals and organizations to turn their ideas into reality," said Robin McDougall, Director of Community Services. "This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting and empowering community, culture, and recreation groups, as well as individuals working towards creating positive change and impact in their communities.”

The grant program will offer up to $10,000 to eligible organizations and individuals. There will be four submission deadlines annually. The first round of applications for 2023 will be due June 15, and can be submitted through the Town’s website at aurora.ca/communitygrants. A panel of Town staff will evaluate the submissions based on their innovation, feasibility, impact, and alignment with the Town’s Strategic Plan and Inclusion Charter.
