WHAT:
The community is invited to attend the S.A.R.C. Desjardins Gym Opening. Enjoy a variety of free activities including drop-in sports, leisure swim, kids’ crafts, mosaic tile painting and explore our community partner zone. Don’t miss the ribbon and cake cutting at 10 a.m.
The S.A.R.C. Gymnasium addition includes an 8,000 sq. ft. high school-sized gymnasium, 620 sq. ft. dry change rooms for both males and females, 280 sq. ft. of gymnasium storage, and a 730 sq. ft. multipurpose room. In addition, the project features a renovated and expanded administration space (1,570 sq. ft.), a new 690 sq. ft. customer service area, a universal washroom, and a retrofitted preschool room with a folding partition for multi-purpose use. The gymnasium also has a new sound system and enhanced security measures both inside and outside.
