Significant Weather Event Declared March 28, 2025

The Corporation of the Town of Aurora declares a significant weather event due to Freezing Rain Warning issued by Environment Canada. Freezing rain is expected with accumulation amounts up to 10mm.

This will impact roadways, sidewalks, multi-use paths, bicycle lanes, and laneways commencing at 4 p.m. on March 28, 2025, pursuant to O.Reg 239/02.

During this time, proceed with caution and anticipate that roadways, sidewalks, multi-use paths, bicycle lanes, and laneways may become icy and slippery.

All transportation routes may take additional time to clear.

This declaration will be in effect until further notice.
