The Canada Post strike is impacting mail services to and from the Town of Aurora. During the strike, we will not be sending out any mail or receiving mail. Please see below for alternate ways to access Town services and make payments during this time:

Tax and Water Payments – Pay via online banking, in person at your financial institution, drop off a cheque at the 24-hour drop box (Aurora Town Hall or Joint Operations Centre), or in person (debit and cheque only)
Residents are still required to pay their water and property taxes, despite the Canada Post labour disruption. We encourage customers to call into the Town offices to inquire about their outstanding balance.
Pet Licensing – Pay online, drop off a cheque at the 24-hour drop box located at Aurora Town Hall or the Joint Operations Centre or in person at Aurora Town Hall or Joint Operation Centre with cash, debit, cheque or credit (No AMEX). Penalties remain due on pre-set dates.
Parking Tickets – Pay online drop off a cheque at the 24-hour drop box located at Aurora Town Hall or the Joint Operations Centre or in person at Aurora Town Hall or Joint Operation Centre with cash, debit, cheque or credit (No AMEX).
Penalty/Parking Infraction Notices are still due on pre-set due dates.
Property Standards and Animal Control Order Appeals – Shall be submitted in-person at Aurora Town Hall on or prior to the appeal date indicated on the Order to Comply. Late appeals will not be accepted.
Permit Booking/Registration or Membership Payments – Pay online through E-Play or at the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex, Aurora Family Leisure Complex or Aurora Town Square with cash, cheque, debit or credit (No AMEX)
Tax Certificate requests –Pay with cheque via courier or the 24-hour drop box located at Aurora Town Hall or the Joint Operations Centre.
Blue Bin/Green Bin – Pay in person at Aurora Town Hall or Joint Operations Centre (cash, debit, cheque, or credit – No AMEX).
Building Permits (building, plumbing and pool) – Pay via the online portal or in person at the Town Hall Building Department (cash, debit, cheque, or credit – No AMEX).
Important Note: If you mailed a cheque, we recommend you cancel it and deliver a replacement in person.
