Back to SearchThe Aurora Performing Arts Festival, presented by Marquee Theatrical Productions, in partnership with the Town of Aurora, is an exciting talent search for youth and children. We’re searching for vocalists, actors, and dancers to step into the limelight and showcase their abilities. York Region is overflowing with talented youth and this is a great opportunity to present your talents to the community!
The competition will take place in person on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Aurora Town Park. Competitors in three different age categories (7 and younger, 8 to 11 and 12 to 17 years old) can compete amongst their peers within each age range either in singing, acting or dancing. The winner of the age 12 to 17 vocal category will be named the 2023 Aurora Teen Idol.
The winners within each age category and discipline will win cash and prizes. The winner of the 12 to 17 years of age vocal category will be invited to perform at a variety of community events as the 2023 Aurora Teen Idol.
Entry deadlines are online at marqueetp.com/apa-festival Along with each entry, applicants will need to submit a video of their performance. The deadline to apply is Sunday, May 28, 2023.
