Prepare for a global journey without leaving town! The Town of Aurora proudly presents Aurora’s Multicultural Festival, recognized as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals and Events. Join us in celebrating the diverse cultures that enrich our community.
WHAT: Be amazed by authentic dance performances from Brazilian, Egyptian, Ukrainian, South Asian, and Chinese artists. Savour free appetizer samples from different cultures, each prepared in traditional ways that highlight their unique heritage. Join in on interactive Belly Dance and Bollywood Dance workshops and demonstrations that offer a hands-on cultural experience. This event promises to be a cultural journey unlike no other!
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, September 21
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aurora Town Park (49 Wells Street)
- Cultural Dance performances
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Aurora Town Square (50 Victoria Street)
- Cultural Dance performances, appetizer food samples, and interactive experiences
- Special performance by the Norman Dance Company (ticketed performance at 7 p.m. purchase tickets at auroratownsquare.ca)
