The Town of Aurora delivers services to residents and businesses through various assets, including roads, watermains, sewers, facilities, and natural resources like parks and trees. As the Town grows, we aim to meet customer expectations by maintaining existing assets and securing resources for future needs through effective asset management. Our goal is to provide optimal service levels at the lowest cost while managing risk effectively. The below policy and plans help the Town manage its municipal assets so that services can support a growing, thriving, and modern town, now and into the future.

Strategic Asset Management Policy

The 2019 Strategic Asset Management Policy was established to lead and commit to the Town’s asset management program. It serves as a guide for consistent asset management practices across the organization, promoting evidence-based decision-making for municipal infrastructure and supporting the delivery of sustainable community services.

 Corporate Asset Management Plan
The 2024 Corporate Asset Management Plan outlines how the Town will ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective service delivery through effective management of its assets, both now and in the future.
 Natural Asset Management Plan
2024 Natural Capital Asset Management Plan compliments the Corporate Asset Management Plan, with a focus of asset management sustainability of Aurora’s natural assets.
