Behind the Scenes
Join us for the first installment of Behind the Scenes where we take you on a journey through the Museum’s exhibitions and collections. This month we learn about and reflect on Aurora’s military history and those who served. Embark on a guided tour of the Aurora Museum & Archives which includes exhibition cases throughout Town Square, as well as the brand new, state-of-the-art artifact storage space. Behind the Scenes will provide participants with an opportunity to become more familiar with military artifacts and soldier’s stories.

Remembrance Day Workshop
Join us at Aurora Town Square for a morning of remembrance. Participants will learn about and reflect on Aurora’s military history and those who served. A guided tour of the Aurora Museum & Archives display and collection will provide participants with an opportunity to become more familiar with Remembrance Day artifacts and soldier’s stories. Participants will cap off their time with us by engaging in a letter writing activity that will have them write to a veteran.

Victorian Holiday and
New Years Cards
Join us at Aurora Town Square for a crafty holiday cardmaking activity inspired by holiday cards from our archival collection. Participants will engage with archival materials from the collection while creating their own one-of-a-kind holiday card.
