The Aurora Cultural Centre believes in strengthening the social fabric of our community through the transformative power of arts and culture. A not-for-profit charitable organization, the Centre is supported through strong community partnerships, donors, funders, and support from the Town of Aurora.
As a cultural leader, the ACC brings vitality to the heart of Aurora through excellence in professional arts programming while encouraging community engagements. The Centre’s Gallery program offers a rotating series of exhibitions by professional artists, in a mix of solo and group exhibitions, as well as the Mayor’s Celebration of Youth Arts, an annual grade 12 visual arts show. The Education program offers a wide selection of arts classes and workshops for children, youth and adults lead by artist-educators, as well as visual arts summer and March Break camps, and P.A. Day programs. The Performing Arts program features national and internally-acclaimed artists with a diverse range of genres and styles, including folk, rock, jazz, pop and classical concerts, and family shows that cater all ages.
