The Corporation of The Town of Aurora declares a significant weather event due to the pending winter storm event in the Town of Aurora. Snow and freezing rain on sidewalks, roadways, laneways, and bicycle lanes, commencing at 4 p.m. on Friday January 12, 2024, pursuant to O. Reg 239/02.
During this time, proceed with caution and anticipate that sidewalks, roads, laneways, and bicycle lanes may be heavy with snow, form ice and become slippery.

Seeking input on Recreational Program Needs for Persons with Disabilities

The Town of Aurora is developing a Recreation Needs Assessment for Persons with Disabilities in our community. This initiative was identified as an action item within the recently approved Parks and Recreation Master Plan in June 2023. It is also part of the Town’s commitment to providing fair and equitable access to programs and services.
